Neighbourhood Watch

In November, a number of members of the community went round to all the houses in the neighbourhood to ask people whether they were interested in setting up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme. 85 households were supportive of the idea (there are about 200 houses althogether, although not all are occupied) - of the rest, most didn't respond.

As a result of this we invited the community gardaí to a meeting where a Neighbourhood Watch committee was set up.

Everybody has now received a sticker to place in their windows: please do this, as it sends a positive message that we really care about the area.
